Data Architect

Are you ready to play a pivotal role in our journey towards becoming a data-driven digital powerhouse? Do you excel at the intersection of technology and business, and are you passionate about achieving clear results through effective communication? If so, you might just be the Data Architect we're seeking at Norlys A/S Data & Analytics organisation.

Within our Data Architecture & Metrics team, you'll find a group of experienced colleagues with a shared mission: to transform data into insight and value. We are committed to our work and value collaboration – always remembering to celebrate our triumphs together.

As our Data Architect, you will act as a bridge between decision-makers, business analysts, and the technical team. Your communication skills are therefore vital, as you will guide data engineers and BI developers towards clear and efficient data architecture. The ability to inspire and create followership is also a crucial part of this role.

Your role

Following Norlys' acquisition of Telia Denmark, we are faced with exciting challenges, including the consolidation of data sources into a unified data warehouse and establishing the reporting foundation for the new organisation. With technologies such as Snowflake, dbt Cloud, and Qlik Cloud, you will play a central role in this transformation, supporting our data engineers in creating valuable and well-constructed data assets.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and architecting data: Developing data models for business intelligence and data analysts, creating guiding documentation, and ensuring adherence to architecture.
  • Creating metrics: Laying the foundation for company-wide and governed metrics
  • Data analysis: Conducting data assessments within specific domains, projects, or applications.
  • Ensuring complete documentation, governance, and compliance.

We envision that you have:

  • Several years of experience in telecommunications or a similar industry such as insurance or banking.
  • Extensive experience in writing and optimising data models using SQL in cloud data warehouses at an enterprise level.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining dbt projects.

At Norlys, we value diversity and an inclusive culture where everyone contributes with their unique perspective. We are an organisation where innovation and collaboration are key, and we encourage all qualified candidates to apply, irrespective of their background.
