Executive Assistant - Make an impact on board governance

Do you want to play a key role in shaping board governance and supporting strategic processes at Norlys? As Executive Assistant for Board Governance, you will work closely with senior management and board members of the commercial part of Norlys. In this role, you will act as a key coordinator and ensure the quality of board materials, governance processes, and stakeholder communications, while gaining direct insight into strategic decision-making. Enhancing board efficiency through structured governance
You will ensure a structured and efficient governance setup, collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior management, board members, and key specialists across the organization. Your day-to-day tasks will include coordinating and driving the preparation, execution, and follow-up of board meetings and materials, while ensuring that governance frameworks and best practices are followed. As Executive Assistant for Board Governance, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth functioning of board operations.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Provide support to the Board of Directors and senior management, including preparing board meetings, shaping agendas, ensuring stakeholder alignment and handling requests from board members and senior management
- Prepare and review, board materials, including agendas, reports, presentations, and minutes to ensure accuracy and professionalism
- Drive Performance Review Meetings between Norlys Group and the commercial business units
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices, including maintaining corporate records, board policies, and governance frameworks
- Conduct stakeholder management and act as a link between senior management, the board, and key internal stakeholders
- Continuously evaluating and optimizing governance processes to enhance efficiency
- Assist in special projects and initiatives related to corporate governance and strategic planning
Your structured approach and attention to detail will be essential in ensuring seamless board operations.
Business insight, structure & confidentiality
In this role, you will work at the intersection of governance and strategic decision-making. By supporting the Board of Directors of the commercial part of Norlys, you will gain a deep understanding of business-critical priorities, industry trends, and executive discussions. Your ability to manage confidential information with discretion and proactively optimize governance processes will be key in supporting the leadership and Board of Directors.
While your educational background is less important, we prefer a relevant bachelor's degree and value experience in similar roles, such as Executive Assistant, or Board Coordinator, with experience supporting senior management and handling governance processes.
Additionally, you are:
- Highly structured and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring all processes and materials meet the highest standards
- Able to build and maintain strong relationships
- A strong communicator, able to craft clear and professional reports, presentations, and minutes
- Proactive in identifying and solving problems with a strong service mindset
- Strong MS Office skills, especially PowerPoint
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken – Danish is a plus
