We have within the last years succeeded in creating a strong Norlys brand, building on the legacy of brands such as Stofa, Boxer and Waoo. We have become a national supplier with all our products while at the same time developing our organization, so that we are now in the unique position to break with the traditional approach to running a telco-business.  Alongside our Energy-business and our new Mobile-business, we now have the potential and the ambition to become the preferred supplier for Danish households and businesses across both TV/Internet, Energy and Mobile. We intent to seize this opportunity and make the full of it.  

 

For us to succeed with this ambition we need to keep developing our business and adapting it to the highly competitive market situation – and this is where you come into to picture. We are looking for a new VP to head our commercial B2C organization, to push us beyond our telco-comfort zone and help us find new and innovative ways to fulfill our national strategy and potential; To become the preferred supplier of TV and internet to Danish households.

 

 

VP of Sales & Products

In this exciting position you will be a part of the Norlys Digital Executive Management team, reporting directly to the SVP of Norlys Digital, and you will be heading a commercial organization of approx. 200 employees and managing a revenue of approx. 3 bn. DKK. The organization is responsible for sales through all channels, except digital channels which is outsourced to other parts of the organization. You will also be responsible for areas such as, Product Management, Customer Experience, Content management etc. You will be the link between them all, ensuring that your entire organization is working towards the same objectives and moving in the right strategic direction: Winning the Danish households.

Your main mission will be to act as a strong leader and role model for the organization, striving to maintain a culture that promote the Norlys values such as community and innovation while at the same time ensuring the continuous profitability of the organization in a highly competitive market situation.

 

Your main responsibilities will be:

 

  • Strategic and tactical responsibility for the TV and Internet categories
  • Responsible for sales across all cannels (online, partners, in-/outbound ect.)
  • Responsible for go2market strategies
  • Procurement responsible for TV content and Internet products
  • Sole responsibility for contribution margins for both TV and Internet categories

 

 

A commercial mindset for a competitive market

For this position we are looking for an experienced leader who is used to operating at a senior management level (Director +) in a large organization. Besides being a strong leader, we are looking for a sharp commercial mindset with a proven track record for driving and creating changes in both organizations, categories and markets. You dare to play the game in a new way, seizing new business opportunities and succeeding in a highly competitive market.

 

Professionally, you can check of some or all of the following bullets:

 

  • Experience with strategic responsibility for driving and developing categories
  • Strong experience with B2C, preferably working with FMCG (experience working within telco is not a requirement)
  • Experienced in working with omnichannel sales and service, e.g. leading a business transformation towards more digital sales
